Alessio Bertolacci is an indie game developer who, since 2024, has been working on his first sandbox game, titled Gold Rush Ventures. The project is divided into two main areas: on one side, the development of his brand identity and website; on the other, the production of the game itself, including the creation of the logo, user interface, and social media content.
The development of the brand identity began with a careful analysis of the developer’s style and preferences, leading to a solution that reflects both his personality and the world of game development.
The logo is built around Alessio Bertolacci’s initials, enclosed within curly brackets — a recurring symbol in coding, often used to define structures, group data sets, or enclose expressions. This design choice combines symbolic depth with a clear and distinctive visual mark.
The chosen color palette reflects Alessio’s style: simple, balanced, and never excessive, yet fully aligned with the visual language of the gaming industry.
To complete the visual identity, business cards and a set of dedicated social media assets were also created, providing essential tools to communicate consistently and strengthen brand recognition.
The project began with a wireframing phase, which helped clearly define the structure, key elements, and planned content. The website goes beyond serving as a personal portfolio: its main goal is to spotlight the upcoming video game release on Steam, placing it at the very center of the browsing experience.
The design strikes a balance between a dynamic and engaging look and a consistent brand identity, ensuring that the game remains the focal point while reinforcing the developer’s image. Many of the visual and narrative elements are directly tied to Gold Rush Ventures, encouraging users to explore further and visit the dedicated Steam page.
In this way, the project not only helps strengthen Alessio Bertolacci’s presence as an indie game developer, but also lays the foundation for the future growth of his gaming brand, building a digital ecosystem that can evolve and support the upcoming titles in development.
