In the initial design phase, we identified the key elements and actions that a user typically performs on a streaming app: accessing the application, logging in or registering (including profile creation), navigating the home screen, searching by category or keyword, viewing detailed information about movies or TV shows (including actors and specifications), and controlling playback with options for fast-forward, rewind, pause, volume, and audio/language settings. The next step involved creating wireframes and defining the app’s visual identity. The color palette—blue and purple—was chosen intentionally to evoke a cinematic, neon/LED atmosphere, reminiscent of a home theater experience.

For the layout and individual elements, without the time for extensive research, we put ourselves in the user’s shoes, drawing inspiration from platforms like Netflix and Disney Plus, with the goal of designing an interface that is functional for both manual and voice interaction. The project features a complete system including login and sign-up, personal profile creation, main home screen, dropdown menus, category pages, a personal “My List” section for favorite content, detailed movie and actor information, and finally the streaming screen.
